Formed in November 2019, Dribbler played just four shows before their momentum was cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic.

In their short existence they have already built a reputation as one of Jersey’s most exciting, must-see live bands.

Last year’s Dribbler EP gave a taste of the band’s blistering mix of speedy punk and garage rock. Recorded with just a single mic, the EP has a raw DIY aesthetic and features catchy melodies and emotive vocals. The Dribbler EP was released on cassette via Brighton label, Ugly Twin. Its first run sold out in one day.

The band recently announced their new album Biglife! and launched its title track as a lead single. With it’s sunny vibe and shout-along chorus, the song doesn’t stray too far from their signature garage rock sound. The rest of the album promises to delve into more extreme directions, touching on psych and post-rock, post-punk, and power pop with nods to the likes of Fugazi, Weezer, and The Bronx. Recorded at Orbital Studios, Biglife! beefs up the sound without compromising on the distortion and wailing feedback of the band’s debut.

The collection of tracks expand on the introspective subjects of the EP, with honest, and sometimes cynical lyrics about drifting through life without a clue, the pressure of societal expectations, and today’s media-obsessed world.

2nd Single ‘Metanoia’ is scheduled for release 29/10/21 alongside preorders for two limited vinyl Pressings.

Biglife! will be released 03/12/21 on limited 180g 12” coloured vinyl via Magic Moustache Records.
